November 22, 2021 – Mega Agents in the Keller Williams Northwest Region came together on November 18 for an exclusive ’Top 100 Mastermind’. After surveying leaders in the Region, it was determined that wealth building was the hottest topic on the docket. And who better to answer top producers’ burning questions on the subject than Jay Papasan. Papasan’s experience as Vice President and Executive Editor at Keller Williams Realty Inc. combined with his knowledge as bestselling author of The Millionaire Real Estate Agent and The ONE Thing made for a lively discussion.
Keller Williams Northwest Regional Director Bruce Hardie kept attendee engagement and interaction top of mind in this virtual event. The full agenda included small breakout sessions, with agents brainstorming questions for Papasan and masterminding with ‘aha’ moments amongst their top agent peers. They seized the opportunity to network and gain best business practices from each other for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
At one point in the program, Papasan asked attendees what they believe the number one skill an investor needs to know to be successful. His answer? “You have to understand the value where you choose to invest. Can you recognize a good deal from a bad deal? Because if you can’t recognize value, you’re not investing. You’re speculating. You’re gambling. And guess what? One of the highest rates of return you can get, in any asset class is what we do everyday, folks. Real estate.”
“Y’all are masters at valuing real estate. You have an unfair advantage,” Papasan continued. “One of my good friend’s pointed out to me ‘In any other industry, this insider knowledge would be illegal for us to use.’”
Both teams and individual agents attended, ranging across the 37 market centers that make up the KW Northwest Region. Their feedback was nothing short of positive:
“I appreciated the wealth building discussions, especially the part about investing into people first and then real estate afterwards. It helps me get clarity on where I want to go with our team.” – Jamie Jenicek, North Idaho Home Hunter, KW Coeur d’Alene
Hardie made sure to notify participants that the ‘Top 100 Mastermind’ will continue well into 2022 as an ongoing, quarterly series, which will start to incorporate in-person gatherings. Marketing strategies, tips for attracting talent, and referral-based business growth were just a few of the topics of interest suggested for future masterminding.
Notably, it is this exact type of forum that sets Keller Williams apart from other real estate companies. By fostering a culture where sharing is encouraged amongst even the most successful agents, those in the KW Northwest Region can continue to learn from each other and grow together. This unique collaboration is sure to catapult top agents to even greater heights next year.
